Some of these laptops are only a year old but are available for amazing prices. If you have a really small budget, you can often get very old laptops (more than 4-5 years) for a hundred dollars or less.
You can also find some cheap used laptops on popular computer forums or online classified sites, such as Craigs List. You could also look in your local newspaper to see if anyone has listed old laptops in the classifieds section. You might also find a bargain at a local garage sale.
Battery-powered portable computers had just 2% worldwide market share in 1986. However, sales of laptops have now overtaken the sales of personal computers (PC’s). With all the old laptops owned by members of the public, you are bound to find someone who will sell their old laptop at a really good price.
